"Seven Kingdoms II is a deep, rich, incredibly
satisfying game that blends myriad gameplay elements with a near-perfect
balance ...... Seven Kingdoms II makes it work smoothly and creates
one of the most addictive strategy games of the season."

GameSpot --
9.1/10
Trevor Chan has created a perfectly balanced conquest and combat
game that deserves the widest possible audience, and has all the depth
that Age of Empires lacked. Seven Kingdoms II is without question
one of the finest strategy games on the market, largely because the
world it creates has realistic dynamics and complexity never overwhelms,
but adds a richness found far too rarely in strategy games.

Games Domain

The Seven Kingdoms series remains a very unique and novel (dare
I say "fresh") gaming experience. Enlight and Trevor Chan
have managed to design and refine an innovative gaming system, they've
added glitz where before there was only a dull sheen, they've streamlined
aspects that were previously somewhat jagged .....if you want something
a little different, with innovation, then 7K can offer a very rewarding
experience.

In Seven Kingdoms II, Trevor Chan and
his team at Enlight Software have retained the essence of the original
design, adding new features and removing or streamlining the tedious
ones...... While Seven Kingdoms II may not represent a quantum leap
over Seven Kingdoms, it is nonetheless a polished refinement of the
original, a solidly-constructed game that will hopefully garner the
attention that eluded its predecessor.

GamePower
-- GamePower's 4-Lightning-Bolt Award
Seven Kingdoms II is polished, thrilling, comprehensive, varied,
and attractive. The original game did a great job not just of fleshing
out real-time strategy with brand new elements, but it successfully
interrelated them, making them manageable. The sequel takes this even
further, refining some of the rougher edges and expanding some of
the underdeveloped aspects .......Whether you like real-time games,
turned-based games, empire building games, tactical combat games,
historical games, or epic fantasy games, Seven Kingdoms II is a superlative
example of how to combine them all in a tight package.

Powerplay
-- Power Play Gold Award
The predecessor already set standards - now, with renewed forces
and ideas, brave battles are fought ......A simplified user interface,
which is a welcome change. Additional options in espionage and research
aren't making it more complicated, but enhancing the gaming fun. But
the big bang is the randomly generated campaign - the gaming world
was waiting for such a thing!

"And
luckily for strategy gamers, Seven Kingdoms II: The Fryhtan Wars is
one heck of a game. The game is a superb blend of genres - reminiscent
of many games, but a copy of none"
