Saved Games

Post by rustic »

Currently using Version 5.1.21.

Firstly:

Is there anyway to rewind updates etc to allow me access to my Saved Games prior to Version 4.4.20?
I notice that any attempt to download past updates sends me to a "dead" website.
Does this mean those past Saved Games are never accessible forever - even though they are still sitting on the computer?

Secondly:

Is there anyway future updates can avoid completely removing access to past Saved Games?
For example, allowing different Versions of the game to be accessed through the main Capitalism Lab folder or through their own folder?

Thank You.

Thanks for your response.

I downloaded the Installer as provided by you. It gave me Version 3.4.08. It allowed me to view a list of my Saved Games.
But, unfortunately, I could not open my Saved Games. They were all tagged with Version 3.4.14 (3.414). A message appeared stating that the Saved Games could not be opened because they were created with a later game version than the 3.4.08.

So, I guess I need version 3.4.14.

Thanks again.
