Configurable setting for number of Digital competitors

I want the ability to be able to control the number of AI companies in the Digital Age DLC. The way it is implemented is unrealistic in my opinion and it too difficult. I would like to have full control over how many competitors and be able to adjust the tech level they start out with.
More over, I think the way it has been implemented is wrong, why have specific Digital AI companies, they should be any different to the normal competitors. i.e. say I set 4 competitors, any number of these can decide to pursue a digital agenda. Please can I ask the developers to seriously consider providing a patch with these options ASAP.
I love the idea (I pay Software Inc. on steam all the time) but the way it was been done in Capitalism isn't up to par at the moment.
