Me too, by the way...

But it's on the poll in "tourism option"... or maybe i think so?
Tourism industry may include:
- bars
- cinemas
- casinos
- restaurants
- night clubs
- fast food joints
- hotels
and probably so on...

But this mean at least 7 new buildings in the game, with brand new mechanism for them (they can work like shops or factories). In anyway the food/bevarage industry can profit in this toursim sector. But the AI gotta find new formulas to determine the number of tourists that come in any given city, demand for these services and so on. May be it is hard to implement just like that, it still will add more realism and will expand the game.

Rather than simply stating what we want added, we need to explain how to add it.

Why does it seem like we're afraid of anything that will require something new? It seems the developer is willing to add additional functionality to the game. I wish they would have introduced new buildings for warehouses though....

At first I was just sticking with the idea of Restaurants and Fast Food Chains which their game mechanism would be similar to the retail stores in the game.

However after reviewing your point, I think the other ideas for tourism such as hotels, night clubs are also very good and those can be implemented like what we erect apartments or libraries.

But for Tourism point, it would need some additional implementations to the game, which can be quite distinctive as a change. So without Tourism (without putting Tourists to the game), I am on the side of Restaurants, Food Chains and erecting Hotels, Bars&Night Clubs like Apartments with a continuous supply of cash but with advertisement. (Hotels, Bars can be shown as a product and their price range, brand level could be maintained from that place; and also their branding could continue with same way with Corporate, Range or Unique branding.)

So my point is, implementing restaurants and food chains to the game will not need need any tourists to the game, so I think this can be shown in a seperate title in the poll.

Maybe for all these options in your first message, we can mention all the alternatives in the first message (like you provided me for Tourism Industry, thank you for your detailed response) and the information can be put more clearly, and those can give developers some ideas to implement to the game.

For Energy Industry, there can be Gas Stations in the game, which their effectiveness could be dependant on Gas&Oil Industry. (Shell, Exxon, BP, Total campaings in a city)
However, this can also need more complex and bigger cities, as well as for some other options in the poll.

My #1 thing is bonds. Loans are borderline useless for anything long-term since they're all variable rate and there's no fixed-rate. I'd be more than happy to create a basic framework for the pricing (finance major in college); just let me know.

MILITARY Products like:

Tanks, Fighter Craft and Boats

and Large Projects that have a variable cost that require you to bid on the project like building a power plant and you have to quote a price and you make profit if you can build it for less than quoted.

with negotiating with buyers on big ticket items

Yes and all the loans are interest only with no option to payback principal in monthly payments.

Since a lot of the time the game can go into 20xx in the future, maybe some futuristic industry, like automatic & robotics business for 3D printer (it's really not computer related) and robots (not android, but iRobot like utility robot, or self-going lawn mower), or for more current product like elevators (if you think about it, it's really an automating machine) or answering machine that can be outdated.

Even some wild industry like space industry. From rocket fuel, satellite components, into futurist asteroid mining? maybe linking with aerospace business?

Supplier Contracts Allowing to lock in wholesale pricing. say 6 months , 12m,18m, 26m max

Being able to do a exclusive retailing deals so your the only corporation that can purchase the suppliers products building business relationship vice versa Also have a retailing price in option in the contract setting pricing no matter what the economy is doing so the price is locked in for the contract period.

Also having a option of Paying the manufacturer a upfront amount at the start of the deal so you can sweeten the honey pot.
and a General Council to add to the headquarters allowing you to hold the corporations up to the deal and if not a termination fee will be paid.

By adding these features allows a real world simulation on how business is done. Creating a real manufacturing and retailing industries.

also .... Stock Market and Subsidiaries improvements

Instead of having the Corporation becoming a subsidiary once you own 51% of the shares, you should have it so once you own 51% of shares you have a option to make it a subsidiary just like the merger function but it will give you control to fire and hire all headquarters staffing. with total control of Dividend functions and issuing shares making it so the CEO has no control over it and when the company has financing issues it will pause the game just like it does with the parent corporation giving you total control to fix the matter including closing down firms.
