Capitalism Lab Release version 5.4.37 Patch

Capitalism Lab Release version 5.4.37 patch is now available for download at:

This patch must be applied on top of version 5.1.21 or later. If you haven't installed it, please download the full version installer from http://www.enlight.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=4877


Then extract the ZIP file to your Capitalism Lab program folder. You can open your Capitalism Lab program folder by right-clicking on the Capitalism Lab game icon and select “Properties”, then select “Open File Location” to open the folder.

(The saved game files from versions older than 5.4.05 are not compatible.)

Digital Age DLC options:
Talent System = <Full, Simplified, Greatly Simplified>

If this is set to Simplified, all talents start with a skill level of 50. If this is set to Greatly Simplified, loyalty and headhunting features of the talent system are disabled too.

More Talents = <0-200>

If you are using a MOD with a large number of product classes and there is a undersupply of talents in the game, then you may use this option to have the game duplicate talent data to increase the supply. For example, if you set it to 50, then the game will generate 50% more talents in a new game.

Fixed the bug where a R&D Center doing Product R&D with the COO/CTO having no control over R&D Projects, the AI adjusts the amount of time the research is being done for the next R&D project. After the fix, the AI will not no longer change the research duration, unless you enable the AI change R&D project option in the Management Policies menu.

The Analysis Mode serves as an alternative to the standard 3x3 layout mode for factories. This feature was implemented in response to users who requested a more streamlined way to manage factories.

You could easily switch between the two modes by clicking on the button as shown in the following screenshot. You may switch back to the standard 3x3 layout mode anytime you wish, so you could have the best of both worlds.

This patch also contain various bug fixes.

Please rest assured that Capitalism Lab is virus free and is safe to install and use. It is a false positive.

For your information, here is an analysis profile of Capitalism Lab's main EXE using Virustotal.com:

As you could see in the above link, the executable file of Capitalism Lab has been scanned by over 60 different anti-virus software and all of them have certified that Capitalism Lab is free of virus.

Virustotal.com is a web site that scans the uploaded EXE file using a large number of popular anti-virus software and produces a comprehensive report about the safety of the EXE. You may also want to know that Virustotal.com is owned by Google and you could find out more info about the site from Wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/VirusTotal

Should you still have doubt, you may upload the CapMain.exe from your installed Capitalism Lab folder to www.virustotal.com to see the scan result.

My system will not let me download it, however, I will just wait for a full release I think.

many thanks, I mean I have the game running with all three latest DLC, I was just running through all my software applying updates, patches etc... glad to see you made windows defender aware of the issue.

I got problem with Version 5.1.25, windows defender remove it after download

I have already submitted a request to Windows Defender for rectifying the false positive. Hopefully they will rectify that and allow for download soon.

In the meantime, you could try v5.1.24 which has been verified by Microsoft (see attached).

Downloaded Patch 5.1.24 on top of 5.1.23.
Defender said OK.

Opening screen said Version 5.1.24 beta.

Could not access any Saved Games from versions 5.1.21 through to 5.1.23.
Said "You haven't saved any games yet".

Reverted back to 5.1.23 which is ok.

We have submitted the 5.1.25 to Microsoft for whitelisting CapMain.EXE and it has been processed - see attached.

Now you may download 5.1.25 patch from viewtopic.php?f=7&t=4887

And it will run as a Release version allowing you to load the save games from the previous release version.

Downloaded 5.1.25. No Defender problem.

Still can't access Saved Games that used 5.1.21.through to 5.1.23.
