If a patch comes i to address this will my old saves be compatible?
Hard to say, but usually not for beta DLC patch.

Are there any tools i could use to just hack the save file to get the correct business assets value or a debug mode or anything like that?

Im really attached to this particular scenario and really wanted to buy out tge existing media firms (cant really do that if it messes up my balance sheets)

I think there is but I don't know how to use it, or if it would cause the game to crash http://www.capitalismlab.com/forum/view ... 727#p16416

For beta testing stage, I suggested not to get too attached. :?

So i broke down and decided to just kill the governmemt forms and build private ones.

Pravda now makes a small profit. Not quite the same but people are slowly tuning in and the AI seems to know how to manage media
