We are thinking about commissioning a composer to create new sound tracks for Capitalism Lab.
The first step would be to send a few reference sound tracks to the composer, indicating the type of music that we want him to compose for Capitalism Lab.
I was wondering if any of you have any suggestions as to the types of music you would like to listen to in CapLab. You may send me links from SoundCloud.com for any reference sound tracks that you would recommend.

Haha, starting at 0:54 seconds in is pretty good: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NIKKD8l6eBA
I know that sounds a lot like the music in the original game. I guess the 80s-90s represents the golden age of capitalism/neoliberalism. Makes sense that's when this game came out.
I have a certain nostalgia for the aesthetics of that era.
There is some cool music in this documentary: http://watchdocumentaries.com/trillion-dollar-bet/
I would check out other old documentaries and movies about business for inspiration.
