Based on my limited experience, it seems like venture capitalists only buy stakes in companies at the beginning of the game and then don't really don't anything. Is there a way to get them to invest on your company after that (before IPO obviously) and is there a possibility that they will do it?
I also would like to know how often, if at all, they engage in stock trading. The documents say not usually, does that mean never?
Do Venture Capitalists invest in player company?

I have never seen this, but I'd imagine that it only happens when you go public and issue a huge IPO.
Alternatively, a new function would be required to ask for Angel VC money, but then how can the AI make a choice between each company asking for VC money? In the IPO case, it would check the existing firms and decide on the type and profitability of those firms.
