Can you add comments to scripts?

Is it possible to add comment lines in scripts? I can't see anything in the script documentation which allows for lines that are ignored by the script reader.

Actually never mind, I found it:

You can add a \\ at the start of the line:

\\Will be ignored
Will cause an error

the new ones appear in so many different places in the forums, it would be nice to have a pinned post in this channel with every possible value and what they did, I know most of them are on the website on different pages, but all on one page would be easier for searching and the like.
