This is correct.

Please download the latest patch v2.7.11 which contains new translation text.
-Added translation support for a number of news and event messages in TEXT\T_GAME.TXT
You would find the new text lines starting at "[2772]<NAC0>Corporation Changes Strategy|" until the end of the text file.
Existing T_GAME.TXT files need to be updated to include these new text lines in order to be used with v2.7.10C.

I did a test by changing the product name "Bed" to "NewBed" in translate.txt (as follows) and it works fine in the game (see the attached screenshot).
