Every time when I finish a R&D project e.g 1year, there is a notification, but it will not restart the same project.

Then I need to start it manually even if the company is assigned to COO.

Is it the normal case?

Did you mean the Project Management unit?

No, I mean the tech programming.

After finishing the R&D, I need to manually restart a new research of the same project.

I just started a new game and tested it and Tech Programming Unit did automatically start a new R&D project right after the existing one has finished. There is no COO in my game.

Have you tried researched other types of tech? Did you always get the same issue?

I haven't encounter this situation in a new game.
But when time goes by, like 5-10years, it will suddenly stop
Same thing goes to the R&D centers. At the start of the game, the CTO can change the R&D projects.
But at a point when I assign the R&D centers to the COO, he didn't change the project.

We will investigate the problem.

Could you please provide us with your save game file and let us know the following?
1) Which version of Capitalism Lab you are using. You can see the version number on the top-right of the main menu.
2) The exact steps for triggering the bug with the save game
3) If your savegame uses a MOD, please let us know the name of the MOD and the MOD's version number.
