Server down ?

Hi David,
I can't get connection to the server and the game tells me only save game loading is possible as a result. Also the layout for the forum seems to have changed, indicating the webpage is not loading the same as before. Has something changed ? Does it need a reboot ?

I just tested it and I was able to start a new game without any problems.
Are you using any anti-virus software that runs in background? If so, there is a possibility that the firewall of such anti-virus software may block the game’s communication with the game server. You may check your anti-virus software’s user manual for how to add Capitalism Lab to one of its approved app to prevent it from being blocked by the firewall.
For example, if you are using Avast, you can add Capitalism Lab’s EXE files “CapStart.exe” and “CapMain.exe” into Avast’s exception list to prevent it from blocking the game.

Because of this, the game's functionality is limited to loading saved games only at the moment.

The server IS down.
If you try to load any page at
www.capitalismlab.com in your web browser, you only get a page showing a banner from your web host "bluehost"

There is an emergency error with the server and it is under repair. We expect it to be fixed in a few hours.
