Translate.txt文件现在707KB
里面很多都是MOD的翻译,能不能添加一个MODTranslate.txt?
我可以把MOD的翻译全部弄到MODTranslate.txt里面
MODTranslate.txt的功能和Translate.txt一样
I've forwarded your suggestion to the dev team.

Here are the details of the plan to improve the Translation System that I just got from the dev team:

It supports two storage methods of translation files:

The old method
Translate.TXT is the only translation file in the TRANSLAT folder.

The new method
You can put several translation files, all with the file name prefix “Trans_” in the TRANSLAT folder.

For example:
You may put 2 translation files:
Trans_Standard.txt –translation file for standard game text.
Trans_RealWorldMod.txt – translation file for text in the RealWorld Mod.

When the game starts, it will first look for files stored the new method. If not found, it will load TRANSLATE.TXT using the old method.

With this system, a translator can prepare the language pack containing files using both the old and new methods, thus supporting both old and new versions of the game.

Game version 6.5.00 or later will load TRANS_*.TXT.
Game versions older than 6.5.00 will load TRANSLATE.TXT.

So, as I understand it, if we wanted to, we could put a dedicated file for something different.

1) A file for basic information
2) A "que" file for the information centre
3) A file for mods

Question: Assuming that an English word is found in several files, how will the game react?

I haven't had the case yet, but for example, there's the word "stock"

In french, it's mean

1) "action" part of the company, what you buy in the stock market.
2) "Stock" Merchandise that a company owns for the purpose of reselling it.

If not, I imagine this could be the beginning of a multilingual version?

It would then be enough to put "FR" or or "IT", the letters of the language or "01" "02" for the application order before "Trans_".

Thanks for the support ;)

The game will read the translation files sorted by file name and process them in that order.

I actually used Enlight for translating some Chinese documents a while back. It was pretty decent, but not without its quirks. The interface was user-friendly enough, and the translation was mostly accurate, though I noticed some minor errors here and there.

I've switched to using professional services that translate my papers within a few hours and send them to me in all the formats I need. It ensures accuracy in the translation, which was a key factor for me. If you want to learn more about this, you can read about certified translation services on their site.
