Seeking input: Ideas for scenarios for Banking and Finance DLC

If you have any ideas for scenarios for the Banking and Finance DLC, please let us know.

If we can get enough ideas for the scenarios, the dev team will add them to the Banking and Finance DLC.

Hi,

here's my first take:

1. You start with a simple bank and you can invest in shares of all companies, but got to act like a holding group. Which means - the bussines you can directly control must be bank/insurance only, and you can indirectly control other companies. You have to reach market capitalisation of this holding - 1bln in 20 years, have to control at least 3 other corporations (like subsidiaries) and have to be num 1 in domination of "Finance" sector. You are allowed to buy bonds and shares only, but not individual firms, buildings or tech. Another goal is that you must control bonds and shares (outside the 3 corporations you control) that have value of at least 500mln.

2. You start as a small bank, and the game already has 3 big established banks in the game. The start time is 2008 - in the middle of a recession. Other existing companies that are doing at least fine - bunch of tech startups, 2-3 diversified corporations, with a lot of debt, 1 RE company, 4 media/internet companies, and after the first 2-3 years of playing, the crisis is over and new corporations start poping up every year, new tech is developed faster and faster. You start as the 4th company in Finance, and your goal is to use the dark times to establish yourself in the world and eventually to reach number 1. Your goal is to have at least 1bln cash, assets/capitalisation of at least 10 bln and to be number 1 in "Finance" and at least 2 other sectors, either with your corporation or a corporation that you own. Bonus points: a/ if each of the three starting banks are merged/controled by you in just 20 years b/ if one of the dominated sectors is RE c/ if you reach num1 in number of emploees in just 10 years. Event: in year 2030, a new banking holding appear, much like the corporation from Idea 1, it starts aggresively expand in banking/insurance/real estate and for the first 5 years is not publicly traded company.

please check these 2, and adjust the numbers if they are too easy or unrealistic in-game.

Can the game add a simple exchange rate mechanism? Its main aim is to improve the low returns on global stock markets and Treasuries relative to inflation through exchange rate fluctuations. After all, it is unreasonable to use the currency inflation level of a country in the game to represent the inflation level of the world market.

Thank you, David! I have already voted. Actually, my idea is not that complicated.Two currencies are enough in the game: the domestic currency and the US dollar. Stocks and Treasuries in global stock markets are still denominated in dollars. At the time of settlement,it can be directly settled in domestic currency according to the exchange rate. In order to reduce the computational complexity of the game, it is not even necessary to add another dollar account. After decades in the game,most stocks in global stock markets have so far returned less than price increases, and my idea is to use exchange rates to balance this.

1、信用卡。消费用的信用卡
2、证券公司,售卖基金,债券和股票的地方
3、外汇,应该最起码有本地货币和美金两种货币
4、在资产负债表上加上资产负债率
5、有抵押贷款 ,企业违约之后应该得到资产补偿
6、破产重组,投资银行要设立
7、线上银行
8、港口应该可以私人经营,进而有进出口公司
9、期货很重要,但是前提需要原材料是有限的,而不是港口无限供应
10、卖空机制要形成,在经济危机中也可以赚钱
11、公司之间可以相互拆借资金
12、现金流量表,这样才能清楚资金流动
