Starting subsidiary merge glitch

When starting the game with 3 subsidiaries if you pause at the beginning (1st jan) and merge all of them and absorb their cash you will get another 1-3 subsidaries when you unpause.
This means you can start some games with 6 merged subsidiaries, some of which have technologies.
