is there any reason the AI doesn't update its tech after researching ?

like here the UI says

Owned Tech is the "Producing companies tech"
Top Tech is the "world top tech on this product"

but clicking upgrade shows the top tech is higher and has not been applied?

Could you please provide the savegame with this problem?

Not really a bug per se, but is there any way to maybe add an option to use the original music instead of the new tracks, or maybe just toggling between Old and New ("retro mode" vs. "modern mode" for music or something)?

There is a simple way to use the old music files in the game:
>delete all the files in the music folder of v9.1
