1) Please try the following solution:
In your My Documents folder, you can find "My Games" folder and "Capitalism Lab Post-Release Beta" subfolder, please delete the file CONFIG.DAT, and see if it solves the problem.

2) Since this version has been migrated to SDL for video output (for details, please see viewtopic.php?t=9331), some users may experience issues, please send us your computer configuration file DxDiag.txt for investigation. You may produce the DxDiag.txt file by running the Command prompt from the Windows Start menu, then type “DxDiag” on the Command prompt.

When the DxDiag window is opened, click on the “Save All Information” button at the center bottom of the window. Then send this file to us at info@enlight.com or send via PM (private message) on this forum.

We will try to provide you with a solution.

More detailed instructions for generating dxdiag file:
1. Click the Start button.
2. In the Search field, enter 'dxdiag'. The diagnostic tool will run.
3. Click to 'Save All Information' and save "dxdiag.txt" to your desktop.
4. Attach the "dxdiag.txt" document to your support email.

Managed to make it work by reading this clue:

So this means that certain resolutions that will encounter this issue as you've said. ( Mine is 1920x1200 and on laptop display only )

What I did is upon login is tick the force the resolution to 1024x768 then it now opened, then changed the preferred resolution.
So far it works.

Can still provide my diagnostics if needed for investigation.

1) The exact steps for triggering the bug with the save game
2) If your savegame uses a MOD, please let us know the name of the MOD and the MOD's version number.

C:\Users\<your user name>\Documents\My Games\Capitalism Lab Post-Release Beta\SAVE

You may provide us with your save game file by posting it here on the forum as a ZIP file attachment or emailing the save game file to us at info@enlight.com.
