A welcome to creators
Enlight Software welcomes community members to use the intellectual property (IP) of any Enlight game title as the basis for community‑created videos made for free or generating only advertising revenue (referred to below as a “Project”).
We appreciate the time and effort you put into your Project and the awesome work you create for our community. These guidelines clarify the conditions for using our IP in your Projects.
IP definitions
“Name”
The name of any of our games, taglines, features, events, or company identity, as well as names that are confusingly similar to them.
“Brands”
Any Names and/or the related logos and distinctive characteristics of any of our Names and games.
“Assets”
Video images, footage, music, sounds, speech, or other assets from our games.
What must a Project do?
If a Project uses any part of a Name, any of our Brands, and/or any of our Assets, the Project must:
- Not make people think that it is official, approved or endorsed by us, or associated or connected with us.
- Not be unlawful, deceptive, obscene, harmful, or disparaging.
- Not take action that would harm or damage any of our Brands or Assets.
- Not include anything around it that makes people think that you or your work is official, approved or endorsed by us, or associated or connected with us.
- Comply with the relevant Account Terms/EULA.
- Sufficiently differentiate the use of any Name from any other branding.
If we, our partners, or affiliates face a legal claim or lawsuit related to your Project, you will pay the related legal fees and costs, including attorney’s fees, and any settlement or judgment amount we must pay as a result.
Can Enlight deny use of its IP?
Yes. We reserve the right to deny the use of our IP at any time, for any reason or no reason, including when we believe our IP is being used inappropriately, as determined at our sole discretion.
If we deny you the right to use our IP, you will need to stop distributing any part of your Project that uses or might use our IP.
